Cherry Slush

Ingredients

  • 3 c sugar
  • 3 c water
  • 2 3 oz pkg cherry jello
  • 46 oz unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1 oz almond extract
  • 7-Up Sprite or lemon-lime

Directions

  1. Bring first 2 ingredients to a boil add jello
  2. Stir until dissolved
  3. Add almond extract and pineapple juice
  4. Add 1 12 juice cans of water
  5. Put this mixture into freezer and let freeze solid 6 to 8 hours
  6. Set out of freezer before serving
  7. Put in large container or punch bowl then add your choice of clear beverage
  8. Serve partially thawed or slushy
