Cherry Squares
Ingredients
- 1 c butter
- 1 12 c sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 c flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp lemon or orange or 12 tsp almond flavoring
- 1 15 oz can cherry pie filling
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar until very light
- Add flour eggs and flavoring
- Beat until light again
- Spread in greased 15 12 x 10 12-inch pan
- Cut batter into 28 squares
- Spoon pie filling into center of each square
- Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes
- Cool Cut into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar
