Cherry Topped Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg yellow cake mix
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 2 8 oz each pkg cream cheese softened
  • 12 c sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 12 c milk
  • 3 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1 1 lb 5 oz can cherry pie filling

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300
  2. Reserve 1 cup of dry cake mix
  3. In a large mixing bowl combine remaining cake mix 1 egg and oil mixture will be crumbly
  4. Press crust mixture evenly into bottom and 34 way up the sides of a greased pan
  5. In same bowl blend cream cheese and sugar
  6. Add 3 eggs and reserved cake mix beat 1 minute at medium speed
  7. At low speed slowly add milk and flavorings mix until smooth
  8. Pour into crust
  9. Bake at 300 for 45 to 55 minutes until center is firm
