Chewy Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 12 sticks margarine
• 34 c packed brown sugar
• 12 c sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 12 c all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt optional
• 1 tsp cinnamon optional
• 3 c oats

Directions

1. Beat margarine
2. and
3. sugars
4. until fluffy
5. Add egg and vanilla
6. Beat
7. Add
8. flour soda salt and spices
9. Mix well Stir in
10. oats
11. Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet Bake 8 to 9 minutes at 375
12. Makes 4 12 dozen
