Chicken-Asparagus Casserole
Ingredients
- 5 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 tsp onion salt
- 14 c melted butter
- 2 12 c milk
- 1 13 c uncooked instant rice
- 1 12 c chicken broth
- 1 14 12 oz can cut asparagus spears drained
- 2 c cubed chicken
- 12 c shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
- Stir flour 12 teaspoon salt and onion salt into butter in a heavy saucepan cook over low heat until bubbly stirring constantly
- Gradually add milk cook until smooth and thickened stirring constantly
- Set aside
