Chicken-Fried Round Steak

Ingredients
- 1 12 lb round steak 12-inch thick
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1 c fine cracker crumbs
- 14 c fat
Directions
- Pound the steak thoroughly and cut into serving pieces
- Mix eggs and milk
- Dip meat into egg mixture then into cracker crumbs
- Handle carefully so all the coating stays on the meat Heat the fat in a large skillet
- Brown meat on both sides in the hot fat
- Cover tightly and cook over very low heat for 45 to 60 minutes
