Chicken-Rice Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 10 34 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 3 oz can chopped mushrooms
  • 1 c regular rice
  • 1 10 oz pkg frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 fryer chicken
  • paprika

Directions

  1. Stir together the mushroom soup milk onion mix and undrained mushrooms set aside 12 cup mixture
  2. Stir uncooked rice and vegetables into remaining soup mixture
  3. Turn rice into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish
  4. Arrange chicken pieces on top
  5. Sprinkle with paprika
  6. Pour reserved soup mixture over chicken
  7. Cover tightly with foil
  8. Bake at 375 for 1 12 to 2 hours
