Chicken-Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 12 c mushrooms sliced
  • 3 c rice cooked
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 12 c chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp parsley minced
  • 14 tsp pepper
  • 3 c chicken cooked and diced
  • 1 12 c light cream
  • 12 c butter
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 34 tsp salt
  • 14 c bread crumbs or crushed potato chips

Directions

  1. Drain mushrooms reserve liquid
  2. Combine liquid and enough hot water to make 1 cup
  3. Add bouillon cube
  4. Saute onion and mushrooms in butter in skillet stir in flour
  5. Gradually add bouillon and cream
  6. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens Add rice chicken parsley salt and pepper
