Chicken A La King

Ingredients
- 14 c butter
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 12 tsp salt
- 18 tsp pepper
- 1 c chicken broth
- 1 c light cream
- 2 c chopped cooked chicken
- 14 c chopped pimento
Directions
- Melt butter in a heavy 2-quart saucepan stir in flour salt and pepper
- Remove from heat stir in chicken broth gradually Add cream
- Cook stirring constantly until thickened
- Add chicken and pimento
- Heat to serving temperature
- Serve immediately over toast or in patty shells
