Chicken Adobo
Ingredients
- 6 chicken thighs
- 12 c vinegar
- 1 c water
- 5 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 head garlic crushed
- 12 pieces peppercorn crushed
- 1 bay leaf
Directions
- Marinate chicken in vinegar soy sauce peppercorn and 12 garlic
- Add water and simmer uncovered until tender
- Strain sauce separate the sauce from meat
- Allow to cool
- To reduce sauce cook in open saucepan simmer until sauce thickens with bay leaf
- Heat cooking oil brown meat and half garlic
- Pour sauce over chicken
- Serve with rice
