Chicken And Dressing
Ingredients
- 1 hen or 6 thighs and 6 legs
- cornbread
- 2 c chopped celery
- 2 c chopped onions
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 stick margarine
- 6 or 8 chopped hard-boiled eggs
Directions
- Cook a hen or thighs and legs
- Bake cornbread to make dressing
- Add celery and onions to broth after chicken is removed
- Add salt and pepper to taste add margarine
- Crumble bread into broth
- Add eggs
- Add deboned chopped chicken
- If mixture is too dry add milk if too thin add more cornbread Pour into greased baking dish and bake until a light brown at 350
