Chicken And Mushroom Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 4 to 6 skinless chicken breasts
- 1 small can cream of mushroom soup undiluted
- 8 oz sour cream
- 4 oz can sliced mushrooms drained
- cooked rice or pasta
Directions
- Melt butter in heavy covered skillet
- Brown chicken on both sides
- Remove chicken and drain excess fat
- Stir in soup and loose pan drippings
- Add sour cream stirring until well mixed Add chicken
- Cover and simmer over very low heat until tender about 50 to 60 minutes
- Stir in mushrooms last couple of minutes Serve over pasta or rice
