Chicken And Sausage Jambalaya
Ingredients
- 2 c onion
- 1 c chopped green pepper
- 5 ribs celery chopped
- 12 c oil
- 2 to 3 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 c chopped parsley 14 c dried
- 2 to 4 lb chicken breasts
- 4 c bouillon chicken
- 3 to 4 c rice
- 3 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 to 3 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c water
- 2 lb smoked sausage cut in rounds
Directions
- Saute onion green pepper and celery in oil over low heat Add garlic and parsley
- Remove from pot
- Brown chicken slowly in remaining oil
- Add bouillon vegetables rice salt cayenne pepper Worcestershire and water
- Cook over low heat 1 hour
- Add sausage
- Add more water if necessary and correct salt
