Chicken And Shrimp
Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 12 onion chopped
- 1 c Port wine
- 16 oz tomato sauce
- 3 Tbsp parsley flakes
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 to 1 12 lb raw shrimp cleaned and deveined
- olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In large frying pan brown chicken and onion in olive oil When browned add rest of ingredients except shrimp
- Cover and simmer about 45 minutes until chicken is tender
- Add shrimp and simmer about ten minutes longer
- Serve over rice
- Makes 4 to 6 servings
