Chicken Breasts In Wine Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 whole chicken breasts halved
  • 2 Tbsp margarine
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 3 medium carrots thinly sliced
  • pepper to taste
  • 14 c white wine or milk
  • 4 oz can 12 c mushroom stems and pieces drained
  • 10 34 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup or mushroom
  • 2 Tbsp chopped onion

Directions

  1. If desired bone chicken breasts and remove skin
  2. In large skillet brown chicken breasts in hot margarine
  3. Add remaining ingredients
  4. Simmer covered 25 to 30 minutes or until chicken and carrots are tender
  5. Serve with rice or noodles
  6. Makes 4 to 6 servings
