Chicken Fricassee
Ingredients
- 1 fryer cut up
- 2 c water
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 12 c green onion chopped
- 34 c roux
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 tsp red pepper
- 12 c parsley chopped
Directions
- In heavy pan combine chicken roux onion salt pepper and water
- Cook covered on low heat for about 1 hour or until chicken is tender
- Add green onions and parsley
- Cook another 10 minutes
- Serve with cooked white rice
