Chicken Livers With Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 2 lb chicken livers cut in 12-inch pieces
  • 1 4 oz can mushrooms drained
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 18 tsp pepper
  • 12 c water

Directions

  1. Fry bacon in pressure cooker remove
  2. Saute liver
  3. Pour off excess drippings
  4. Add remaining ingredients
  5. Close cover securely
  6. Place regulator on vent pipe
  7. Cook 5 minutes and cool pressure cooker at once
  8. Crumble bacon and sprinkle over liver Makes 6 to 8 servings
