Chicken Tapae

Ingredients

  • 1 3 to 4 lb disjointed chicken
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 lb butter melted
  • 1 lb cooking apples peeled cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 c Macadamia nuts coarsely chopped
  • 23 c apple cider
  • 1 c rice cooked

Directions

  1. Sprinkle chicken with salt
  2. Brown in butter in skillet Remove chicken and butter into large baking dish
  3. Mix apples with chicken
  4. Sprinkle with sugar and nuts
  5. Add cider cover
  6. Bake at 375 for 40 to 45 minutes
  7. Serve with mound of steamed rice
