Chicken TinolaChicken Papaya

Ingredients

  • 3 lb stewingfryer chicken cut up
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp bagoong or patis
  • 3 medium sized green papayas pared seeded and cut into 2-inch cubes
  • 1 small piece ginger
  • 7 c water

Directions

  1. In saucepan cook chicken with salt bagoong or patis and ginger for 20 minutes or until fat collects at bottom of pan Stir occasionally
  2. Add water cover and cook for about 2 12 hours or until chicken is tender
  3. Add papaya cubes and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes
  4. Serves 6
