Chicken TinolaChicken Papaya
Ingredients
- 3 lb stewingfryer chicken cut up
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp bagoong or patis
- 3 medium sized green papayas pared seeded and cut into 2-inch cubes
- 1 small piece ginger
- 7 c water
Directions
- In saucepan cook chicken with salt bagoong or patis and ginger for 20 minutes or until fat collects at bottom of pan Stir occasionally
- Add water cover and cook for about 2 12 hours or until chicken is tender
- Add papaya cubes and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes
- Serves 6
