Chicken With Wine Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 12 Tbsp flour
- 12 tsp salt
- 18 tsp pepper
- 4 Tbsp oleo
- 1 c white wine
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 12 lb mushrooms thinly sliced
- 14 c onion
- 14 c parsley
- 2 c hot cooked rice
Directions
- Combine flour salt and pepper
- Coat chicken with mixture Shake off and reserve excess flour
- Melt 2 tablespoons oleo in large skillet over medium heat
- Brown chicken remove from skillet
- Add remaining oleo mushrooms onion and 2 tablespoons parsley
- Saute until onion is soft
- Remove from heat
- Stir in reserved flour blend in wine
- Bring to boil stir frequently Add chicken
- Cover reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes or until tender
- Serve over rice
- Serves 4
