Chili - WandaS Way
Ingredients
- 2 lb beef chili grind or chuck
- 2 c dry pinto beans
- 1 onion medium to large
- 12 c bell pepper or more to taste
- 1 12 tsp cumin
- 12 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 14 c brown sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes and green chilies
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
Directions
- Soak and cook pinto beans until done 3 to 4 hours
- Brown chili grind or chuck chili grind is better or buy a roast and have them run it through the coarse grinder
- Brown until the red is gone
- Drain fat
- Saute onion and bell pepper and cook 5 minutes
- Drain
