Chili Cornbread Bake

Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 envelope chili seasoning mix
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 6 oz pkg corn muffin mix
- 1 c evaporated milk
- 1 c shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions
- Brown ground beef in skillet stirring until crumbly drain Add onion and pepper
- Cook for several minutes stirring frequently
- Stir in salt seasoning mix and tomato sauce
- Spoon into 9 x 13-inch baking dish
- Combine muffin mix and evaporated milk
- Spread evenly over casserole
- Top with cheese
- Bake at 400 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown
- Yield 6 to 8 servings
