Chili Sauce

Ingredients
- 30 ripe tomatoes peeled and cut up
- 2 green peppers chopped
- 2 c raw celery chopped
- 10 apples
- 12 tsp celery salt
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 1 tsp allspice
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1 c vinegar
- 3 to 4 c brown sugar
Directions
- Put first 4 ingredients in pot and simmer slowly for 2 to 3 hours
- Add celery salt salt allspice cinnamon and ground cloves
- Stir constantly until thoroughly mixed
- Add vinegar and brown sugar
- Cook a little longer
- Put in jars while hot and seal the jars
- Makes 12 pints
