Chinese Hamburg Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lb hamburger
  • 2 c celery chopped
  • 2 c onions chopped
  • 2 c dry rice or Minute rice
  • 14 tsp pepper
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can mixed Chinese vegetables drained
  • 14 c soy sauce

Directions

  1. Do not salt anything
  2. Brown hamburger in 2 to 3 tablespoons butter add pepper
  3. Remove meat from frypan put in vegetables and cook until tender
  4. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of water to keep from burning
  5. Cook rice when done add soy sauce and canned soups
  6. Add meat and rice mixture to vegetables
  7. Mix ingredients well and put into covered dish and bake 30 to 40 minutes
  8. A half cup water may be added if needed
  9. Can be frozen before baking
