Ingredients

  • 1 c chow mein noodles crushed
  • 1 c butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 12 c sugar
  • 14 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Using high speed of the electric mixer cream butter sugar and vanilla until soft and creamy
  2. Sift together salt and flour add gradually to butter mixture
  3. Blend well on low speed
  4. Add noodles stirring in by hand
  5. Chill until firm
  6. Pinch off small pieces of dough and shape into fingers
  7. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
  8. Cool dust with powdered sugar
  9. Yield
  10. 5 to 6 dozen icicles
