Chinese Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 34 c minced celery
  • 12 c bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 12 c ground toasted pecans or almonds
  • 1 15 12 oz can pineapple chunks drained
  • 12 c sugar
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 c chicken broth
  • 12 c vinegar
  • 1 green pepper cut in strips
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce

Directions

  1. Combine the first 8 ingredients shape into 1-inch balls Dredge meatballs in 12 cup cornstarch
  2. Pour oil into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan
  3. Add meatballs bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes Drain and set aside
