Chinese Pepper Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak or more
  • 3 sliced onions
  • 3 green peppers cut in strips
  • 14 to 12 c soy sauce
  • garlic salt to taste
  • 13 c water
  • pinch of pepper
  • 12 tsp sugar optional
  • 1 or more tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 or more Tbsp cold water

Directions

  1. Slice the meat diagonally against the grain into 18-inch strips
  2. Heat a large nonstick or regular skillet use 1 tablespoon of oil and brown the steak quickly over high heat Push aside
