Chinese Roast Pork Or Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless pork loin trimmed of excess fat or boneless chicken breasts
- 3 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 3 Tbsp hoisin sauce
- 3 Tbsp honey
- 2 12 Tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 12 Tbsp light soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp blended whiskey
- 1 tsp five spice powder
- pinch of white pepper
Directions
- Quarter the pork lengthwise into 4 large strips
- Pierce the meat with a fork
- Whisk the other ingredients together in a bowl Line a roasting pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil
- Arrange the pork or chicken in a single layer
- Pour the marinade sauce over the meat and allow it to marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator
