Chinese Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 2 c sliced celery
  • 1 c sliced onion
  • 2 Tbsp peanut oil
  • 1 10 oz can chicken broth
  • 2 c bean sprouts
  • 13 c bamboo shoots
  • 13 c water chestnuts
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • cooked rice

Directions

  1. In a skillet or wok cook diagonally sliced celery bean sprouts and onion in oil until tender
  2. Add remaining ingredients except rice
  3. Cook over low heat stirring until thickened
  4. Serve over rice with additional soy sauce
