Chinese Vermicelli

Ingredients

  • 14 c sesame oil
  • 14 c black soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp hot chili oil
  • 2 Tbsp black vinegar or balsamic vinegar
  • 1 18 lb fresh vermicelli dry is good too
  • 12 c sesame seed toasted
  • 1 c green onions thinly sliced on the diagonal

Directions

  1. In a large bowl whisk together sesame oil soy sauce sugar chili oil and vinegar
  2. Cook vermicelli in boiling water until barely tender probably less than a minute
  3. Drain rinse with cold water and drain again
