Chinese Winter Soup
Ingredients
- 1 12 c diced cooked chicken or turkey
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 12 c chopped celery
- 3 c shredded cabbage
- 1 c mushrooms thinly sliced
- 6 chicken bouillon cubes
- 6 c water
- 14 c soy sauce
- 1 8 oz can water chestnuts thinly sliced
Directions
- Saute celery and mushrooms in butter until crisp-tender but not browned
- Add cabbage saute for 3 minutes
- Dissolve bouillon cubes in water add to vegetables
- Mix well
- Add soy sauce water chestnuts and chicken to mixture
- Bring to a boil
- Cook gently uncovered for 5 minutes
- Makes 6 servings
