Chocolate Almond Macaroon

Ingredients

  • 1 12 c flaked coconut
  • 12 c sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Hersheys cocoa
  • 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 18 tsp salt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 12 tsp almond extract
  • whole blanched almonds optional

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 325
  2. In medium bowl stir together coconut sugar cocoa flour and salt
  3. Add egg white and almond extract stir until well blended
  4. Drop by teaspoonful on lightly greased cookie sheet press almond on top if desired
  5. Bake 18 minutes or until set
  6. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to wire rack Cool completely about 1 12 dozen macaroons
