Chocolate Apple Spice Cake

Ingredients

• 2 sticks butter
• 2 c sugar
• 3 eggs
• 12 c water
• 2 12 c flour
• 2 Tbsp cocoa
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 2 apples peeled cored and finely chopped

Directions

1. Cream butter with sugar beat in eggs then water
2. In separate bowl sift flour cocoa baking soda cinnamon and nutmeg Beat into creamed ingredients along with vanilla chocolate morsels and apples
3. Turn into a greased and floured tube pan Bake at 325 for 1 14 hours
4. Cool thoroughly before slicing May be topped with whipped cream
