Chocolate Caramel Bars
Ingredients
- German chocolate cake mix
- 34 c melted oleo
- 13 c evaporated milk
- 1 large pkg chocolate chips
- 1 c blanched peanuts
- 14 oz bag caramels
- 13 c evaporated milk
Directions
- Beat together cake mix melted oleo and 13 cup evaporated milk
- Stir peanuts into mixture and press 12 of it in a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan
- Bake at 350 for 5 minutes
- Melt caramels and 13 cup evaporated milk in double boiler
- After cake comes out of oven sprinkle chocolate chips on top and pour caramel mix on top
- Crumble remaining 12 cake mix on top
- Bake 15 minutes at 350
