Chocolate Caramel Cake
Ingredients
- 1 pkg German chocolate cake mix
- 14 oz Kraft caramels
- 12 c butter
- 12 c evaporated milk
- 1 c chocolate chips
- 1 c chopped pecans
Directions
- Mix cake mix according to package directions
- Pour half of mix into 9 x 13-inch pan and bake 15 minutes
- While cake is baking in saucepan on low heat melt caramels butter and milk together
- Pour this mixture over cooked cake
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts
- Pour remaining cake mix over top and bake for 20 minutes
- All baking is done at 350
