Chocolate Covered Cherries

Ingredients
- 12 c margarine softened
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 12 c chopped maraschino cherries
- 14 tsp almond extract
- 1 12 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Directions
- Cream together the margarine and sugar
- Add cherries and almond extract
- Form into 12-inch balls
- Insert toothpick and chill until firm
- Melt chocolate in double boiler add paraffin wax if too thick
- Dip balls in chocolate
- Let cool on wax paper
