Chocolate Covered Cherries

Ingredients

• 12 c margarine softened
• 1 box powdered sugar
• 12 c chopped maraschino cherries
• 14 tsp almond extract
• 1 12 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Directions

1. Cream together the margarine and sugar
2. Add cherries and almond extract
3. Form into 12-inch balls
4. Insert toothpick and chill until firm
5. Melt chocolate in double boiler add paraffin wax if too thick
6. Dip balls in chocolate
7. Let cool on wax paper
