Chocolate Fudge Deluxe
Ingredients
- 3 c sugar
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1 c milk
- 12 c light corn syrup
- 3 3 oz sq unsweetened chocolate
- 1 14 c butter or margarine
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 c coarsely chopped walnuts
Directions
- In a 3 12-quart saucepan mix sugar with dry gelatin
- Add milk corn syrup chocolate and butter
- Cook over medium heat stirring frequently to 238 on thermometer
- Remove from heat pour into a large mixing bowl
- Stir in vanilla
- Cool about 25 minutes or to 110
- Beat with wooden spoon until candy thickens Stir in walnuts
- Spread into prepared pan
- Let cool
- Cut in squares
- Makes about 2 12 pounds
