Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients
- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate bits
- 4 Tbsp water
- 12 tsp vanilla flavoring
- 1 12 Tbsp butter
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 egg whites
Directions
- Melt the chocolate and water together in a small pan
- Stir in the vanilla flavoring and butter then the egg yolks 1 at a time Beat the egg whites until stiff
- Fold the chocolate mixture into the egg whites using a rubber spatula or a metal spoon
- When thoroughly mixed pour into a glass bowl
- Cover and chill overnight
- Serve with whipped cream on top
