Chocolate Oatmeal Pie
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c CH granulated sugar
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 c light corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp butter or margarine melted
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 12 c each flaked coconut quick cooking oats and semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Directions
- Heat oven to 350
- In large bowl beat eggs until creamy and pale yellow in color about 5 minutes
- Beat in sugar salt corn syrup butter and vanilla
- Stir in coconut oats and chocolate Pour into pie shell
- Bake 40 to 50 minutes until nutty brown Cool on rack refrigerate to chill before serving
