Chocolate Scotcheroos

Ingredients

  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 c light corn syrup
  • 1 c peanut butter
  • 6 c Kelloggs Rice Krispies
  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 6 oz butterscotch morsels

Directions

  1. Cook sugar and light corn syrup in a 3 qt saucepan over medium heat until mixture boils
  2. Remove from heat
  3. Stir in peanut butter
  4. Mix in Rice Krispies
  5. Press into buttered 13 x 9 inch pan
  6. Let harden
  7. Melt over hot water double boiler semi-sweet chocolate morsels and
  8. butterscotch morsels
  9. Stir to blend Spread over Krispies mixture
  10. Chill until firm in refrigerator Cut into bars
  11. Yield 48 2 x 1 inch bars
