Chocolate Souffl
Ingredients
- 13 c sugar
- 13 c baking cocoa
- 14 c all purpose flour
- 1 c skim milk
- 2 T melted reduced fat butter
- 3 large beaten egg yolks
- 4 large beaten egg whites
- 14 t cream of tartar
- 18 t salt
- 3 T sugar
Directions
- Mix first 3 ingredients in a sauce pan
- Gradually add milk stirring constantly and heat to boiling
- Remove from heat Gradually add the beaten egg yolks to this mixture and then stir in the melted butter
- Set aside
- Beat the next three ingredients with an electric mixer until foamy
- Gradually beat in sugar until meringue forms stiff and glossy peaks
- Gently combine the two mixtures and carefully pour into a well greased 6 cup souffl dish Bake on lowest oven rack at 350 degrees for 1 hour
- Serve immediately with fat free cool whip
