Chocolate Squares
Ingredients
- 50 caramels 14 oz
- 23 c evaporated milk
- 1 pkg German chocolate cake mix
- 1 c chocolate chips
- 34 c melted margarine
- 1 c chopped nuts
Directions
- Melt caramels in 13 cup evaporated milk and set aside
- Mix all other ingredients except chocolate chips together and press half the batter in greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan
- Bake at 350 for 6 minutes
- Take from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips Then cover with caramel mixture
- Put remaining batter over caramel mixture by spoonfuls
- Bake for 18 minutes
