Chocolate Toffee Candy

Ingredients

  • saltines
  • 1 c butter
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 12 oz pkg dark chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with well buttered foil
  2. Place saltines side to side to cover
  3. Boil together the butter and brown sugar pour over crackers
  4. Bake for 10 minutes at 350
  5. Sprinkle with the chocolate chips spread with spatula while hot
  6. They will melt
  7. You can also add chopped nuts or coconut on top of the chocolate
  8. Refrigerate for 3 hours
  9. Break into chunks when chilled
  10. Store in refrigerator
