Chocolate Town Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 12 c vegetable shortening
- 14 c sugar
- 12 c brown sugar firmly packed
- 12 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 c self-rising flour
- 12 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Cream shortening sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy Add eggs and beat well
- Add flour to mixture
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a baking sheet
- Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes
- Makes 2 dozen
