Chocolate Turtle Pie
Ingredients
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 1 c light brown sugar
- 12 c 1 stick unsalted butter softened
- 1 12 c pecan halves
- 1 c prepared caramel sauce
- 2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Spray a 9 to 10-inch pie pan with vegetable oil
- In bowl of food processor fitted with steel blade combine flour sugar and butter
- Pulse until mixture comes together in a ball
- Press into pie pan
- Prick a few times with a fork and place in oven for 5 minutes
- Sprinkle pecans onto partially cooked pie shell and pour caramel sauce over
- Return to oven and bake another 15 to 18 minutes or until crust is browned and filling is bubbling
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips
- When chips are melted spread to form a topping Chill slice and serve
- Serves 8
