Chocolate Upside-Down Cake
Ingredients
- 1 12 c chopped pecans
- 1 12 c coconut
- 1 2 layer pkg German chocolate or Swiss chocolate cake mix
- 1 c or 2 sticks margarine
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 16 oz pkg confectioners sugar
Directions
- Sprinkle pecans and coconut in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan Prepare cake mix as per package directions
- Spoon over nuts and coconut
- Combine remaining ingredients in mixer bowl until smooth
- Spoon evenly over cake leaving 1-inch edge
- Bake at 350 for 50 minutes
- Cream cheese mixture will sink to bottom to form frosting
- Cool in pan
- Cut into squares
- Makes 16 servings
