Chocolatetown Pie
Ingredients
- 1 9-inch unbaked pastry shell
- 12 c butter or margarine softened
- 2 eggs beaten
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 c sugar
- 12 c all-purpose flour
- 1 c Hersheys semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c chopped pecans or walnuts
- Festive Whipped Cream optional
Directions
- Prepare pastry shell set aside
- Heat oven to 350
- In small mixer
- bowl cream butter add eggs and vanilla
- Combine sugar and
- flour
- add
- to creamed mixture
- Stir in chocolate chips and nuts pour into unbaked pastry shell
- Bake 45 to 50 minutes or
- until
- golden
- Cool

- Serve warm Garnish with whipped cream
