Chow Chow

Ingredients
- 8 c chopped cabbage
- 2 medium chopped green peppers
- 1 12 c chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp salt
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 12 c white mustard seed
- 12 c black mustard seed
- 12 to 1 c sugar
- 1 qt vinegar more or less
Directions
- Mix first four ingredients
- Leave 1 hour then drain for 3 hours
- Heat remaining ingredients to boiling
- Put the vegetables in jars pour vinegar mix over vegetables and cover tightly
- Can put jalapeno peppers and red pepper to taste Great for eating with beans and rice
