Christmas Fudge
Ingredients
- 3 c sugar
- 1 c milk
- 14 c Karo syrup
- 14 tsp salt
- 14 c butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c chopped pecans
- 12 c chopped coconut
- 13 c chopped candied cherries
Directions
- Combine sugar milk syrup and salt in saucepan mix well Cook over low heat stirring constantly until mixture boils and sugar dissolves
- Cook to 238 stirring frequently
- Remove from heat
- Add butter and vanilla
- Cool to 110 without stirring Beat until mixture loses its gloss and a small amount dropped from a spoon will hold its shape
- Quickly stir in pecans coconut and cherries
- Pour into slightly greased pan 8 x 8 x 2-inch
- Let cool and cut into squares
