Christmas Walnut Clusters

Ingredients

• 1 12 sq unsweetened chocolate melted
• 12 c all-purpose flour
• 12 c sugar
• 14 c butter softened
• 1 egg
• 12 tsp salt
• 1 12 tsp vanilla extract
• 14 tsp double acting baking powder
• 2 c chopped California walnuts
• confectioners sugar

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Grease cookie sheets
3. In large bowl with mixer at medium speed beat all ingredients except walnuts and confectioners sugar until well mixed occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula
4. Stir in walnuts
5. Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls 12 inch apart onto cookie sheet
6. Bake 10 minutes
7. Remove cookies to wire racks cool
8. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar
9. Makes 36
